Jonno is a world-class leader in the field of sports marketing and technology, and a giant in the world of digital media. He is well known for his exceptional experience in creating outstanding digital campaigns and content and was charged with developing the AFL’s social media department. His work at the AFL pioneered the way in which Australian sporting teams and athletes leverage digital marketing and social media. Jonno went on to become Twitter’s first employee in Australia, and as the company’s Head of Sport, managed the accounts of every major professional sporting organisation in Australia, including all the major leagues. He has worked across an impressive array of global sports and events, including the 2016 Rio Olympics, the AFL, the Australian Open and the Melbourne Cup.
